Took a drive for the "Best Burger in Wisconsin!" Well worth it.......very tasty. Service was very good and the bar was slightly crowded on a Tuesday afternoon. Will definitely be back to try some of the other burgers. I had the Wisconsin Beer Cheese burger. Had bacon and a couple onion rings on it. Cooked to a perfect medium on a pretzel bun. My friend had a rueben and said it was great too!!

Fantastic food and great service. Stopped in for a late lunch and we missed the crowds. Don’t let my photos deceive you, this place can get very busy. Which just adds to the atmosphere. And as far as I am aware it’s the only Irish pub in West Bend area. They have a very small open kitchen. It’s impressive the quality and amount of food they can offer with such a small kitchen. I had the patty melt with seasoned fries. One of the best patty melts around. It was a very large serving, I couldn’t finish it. The fries were cooked perfectly. Their burgers are delicious. They recently won the Best Burger in Wisconsin award. Impressive. The service is always great. Our bartender was very friendly and helpful. Offered several different suggestions from the menu including a few daily specials. I think this pub is a gem and I certainly recommend.

Came out on a cold Saturday to enjoy a burger and a few craft beverages. The service was phenomenal, with one guy and his plastic dinosaur, keeping up with drinks, food orders, and bussing in an almost instantly packed place. Pretty impressive that a tiny little kitchen, can keep up with orders for burgers this good!! There are other options, but build your own burger, was the way to go. Decent selection of craft and domestic beers. The bar back had a good selection of bottles as well. Speaking of the bar back, the old wood and stained glass, reminded me of historical photos I've seen of pre-Prohibition wood work. I'd be interested to know it's history. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

We stopped at Brazen Head Pub during a recent trip to West Bend, and wow — Tyler made me the best portobello “burger” I’ve had in my half century on this planet! The mushroom was bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection with a thin, crispy char around the edges. The grilled onions were beautifully caramelized, the Swiss cheese perfectly melty, and the brioche bun lightly toasty, soft and fresh. The garlic aioli took it completely over the top. My friend — who doesn’t even like mushrooms — tried a bite and couldn’t believe how good it tasted. The bartender was super friendly and even helped us pick out a great souvenir hoodie to remember our trip. It was a beautiful bar — warm, welcoming, full of character...and a little bit of humor. If I’m ever back in West Bend, I’ll definitely return for another incredible portobello burger (and maybe a black hoodie of my own!). Wink, wink, nudge, nudge — please order more hoodies. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!
