I have been going to Holy Name Church ever since I was a baby. I think it is such a beautiful church. The pastors throughout the years have just been amazing. They have been helpful getting my first communion. I also was baptized in this church. Great community come to this church. All the services have meaning in the homilies. Just an all around beautiful Church

Review of the building itself. Remodel from a few years ago is beautiful. Building is well maintained. Multiple entrances to accommodate diverse needs. Its challenging to hear anything over the Organ playing when it is in use which was often. Layout of the building makes for an echo effect with available sound system which is distracting at times. During the summer the building gets warm and humid quickly. If the building is not on the state registry for historical buildings it should be.

Here for a wedding, so not sure what the normal masses are like, but beautiful old church with history. Amazing high altar.

Attended a very nice wedding here. Full disclosure: I am not at all religious. However this church is lovely inside and out. Glorious. While the religious ceremonies and rituals held little meaning for me, the ineluctable beauty of this church was astonishing. I do not believe in God in the traditional religious sense, but I do believe that conciousness transcends our ephemeral material existence. A magnificent building like this serves to remind us all of our connection to each other, to the Earth and all living things, to those who have lived and died before us, and to the incredible mystery of our existence and The Universe. Whatever you believe, you can connect with it here. And after all, is that not the true purpose of any church?

Beautiful historic Catholic Church. I wish I had been able to take pictures. The carvings are magnificent. The walls are made of marble. It is a gorgeous historic building. My grandparents were married there, as were my parents. My mom and two brothers were baptized there. A lot of funeral masses have been there. this time when I was there I realized it was probably the last time I would be there she's so I try to just sit there and soak in the beauty of it. If you are in Sheboygan and have time try to stop by it.
