Stayed overnight while hiking the Appalachian Trail, 0.1 mile from trailhead. Clean room, had use of full kitchen.

WARNING ALERT WARNING For a 3-night stay in April 2025, I was billed $6,750 in addition to the $3,000 in the agreement. I've been requesting a refund for over 3 months, and I haven't received a refund to date. I've received no calls or email follow-ups from the administration of this establishment. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE, even FRAUDULENT. You have no respect for your customers.

In spite of leaving multiple messages, the "manager" was unavailable by phone or text. She should definitely be replaced because of the following: no breakfast breads, muffins, fresh ground coffee as advertised. In fact, the cereals, milks, yoghurts on the counter and in the fridge were all out of date, some by several years. No coffee maker except for fancy espresso machines (not everyone likes Espresso) and even those were out of the caffeine pods. The bed was comfortable but there was no drinking glass in the bathroom and no mirror in the room! Tough to check out a new dress in the tiny medicine cabinet mirror. After I complained and the next day, 3 more guests showed up, the breakfast breads and muffins appeared, along with fresher ground coffee and a Mr Coffee machine. Another guest and I found dirty plates in the cupboard. We were both disgusted. To top off my frustration, the wifi didn't connect. Impossible to use the "Free internet connection" as written on card in our room: WhiteHollowFarm. This is neither a password, nor a connection. My advice? Find another Inn - there are many in the area.

Quaint and elegant country farmhouse. Age appropriate decor, immaculately cleaned maintained. Breakfast area is inviting, well stocked, and oh so convenient when you leave early AM before anyone in the town has woken up. I stayed in summer- temperature was the perfect on the slightly chilled side and the bed enveloped me in warm cozy blankets. The only frustration I had was the $30 fee at booking for towels- I believe that’s a standard service. I was only staying one day and would have easily brought my own, but there was no option to avoid.

My wife and I have stayed at this Inn many times. Very clean. Excellent location to sit on the front porch in one of their rockers or to walk down between the corn fields to the river. It also has a well stocked kitchen for breakfast. Highly recommend it.
