I have never been much of a yogi and I always had the mindset that I was terrible at meditating. I found The Soulwork Yoga and felt a calling to join a 4-week challenge. I cannot express just how deep my gratitude goes after becoming a part of this soul family. Jessica is the most incredible guide, each experience has blown me away with how powerful and simple it is. You can feel the love from the moment you arrive. I now have a love for yoga and meditation which I never thought possible, and a profound love for this space. This is not just a yoga studio, this is a home away from home, where the deep inner work unfolds effortlessly. Thank you Jessica and The Soulwork Yoga family. You inspire me and fill my cup. See you soon. x

I met Jess a few years back when life nudged me further into my soul searching journey and I can comfortably and heartily say that it was absolutely meant to be and life changing. Jess has a very special touch. She has personally been an absolute blessing in my life at a time I was exploring redirection. Fast forward to a few years later, Jess and I reconnected recently and it has been such a beautiful journey of walking on my own path and calling. She is an absolute blessing and gift, and if the universe has nudged you to explore her practice, then trust in the alignment of the stars and absolutely say yes! 💖 Love & Light 🪷✨️🤍

Soulwork yoga retreat is the best I have ever been on, so fabulous that I came back and stayed longer! I have 5 core things that I LOVED and I think you will love too. 1-Yoga 2-Food 3-Accommodation 4-Animals 5- Family. 1- This retreat will take you on an adventure with the most vibrant Jessica guiding you in Yoga Nidra, Kundalini, self-reflection, intention setting, sound baths, storytelling and so much more. You wish to nap? then nap. You wish to swim with penguins? then swim. You wish to chat and go deeper? Then dive. This experience has enabled me listen, stop, breathe and find my whole self - something I haven't been able to do in years, maybe ever. You will also have experiences with teachers Luke (Kundalini class) and Maree (Vinyasa flow) who are absolute gems of humans - everyone is there to guide you on whatever you wish to uncover within yourself. 2- The food from Vegan cook extraordinaire Adam (and sometimes Jessica) was 10/10. Think colourful salads, fresh fruit, scrumptious curries, vegan braai, flowers decorating every meal and you will never be hungry. 3- Great big clean room, own bathroom, reading nooks, hot tub, pool, blankets and 180 degree ocean views that you can soak up for hours- I saw whales! 4- Doggos Alfie & Onion and Cats Aurora & Pomete are there for you, so many cuddles and beach adventures with explorer Alfie 5- Jessica and Adam welcome you into their home and you feel like 1 big fabulous family. We had roadtrips in the van singing to Taylor Swift, talks about the function of fingers nails and a shared love of coming back to basics and gratitude. They are the kindest souls you will find in Cape Town and beyond. Thank you!

Yoga at The Soulwork is a beautiful experience! An intimate studio space, where you get to know and love everyone you practice with, that really embodies a sense of community. Jess's classes are a fine tuned lance between strength, stretch and switching off to connect.I love the way her teaching is routed in traditional yoga and incorporates breath work. She brings such a fun, yet grounded energy to her classes that make them such a treat to take part in. If I had the time I would go every day! Definitely check out this absolute hidden gem and book yourself a class

A fantastic wake up for my mind, body and soul. I’d always stayed clear of yoga, thinking my body wasn’t built for the postures, but l knew l had to do something to kick start this ageing, sad, aching body. And then l came across Jess and her 21 day yoga challenge! 42 classes later and l can say without doubt ‘l love Yoga’ and all due to Jess and her beautiful teachings.. I feel lighter, brighter, and friends say ‘younger looking’ which all adds up to me now loving the body l’m in ... don’t hesitate, book in a session @ The SoulWok Yoga.. you definitely won’t regret it! 🙏💕🧘‍♂️
