Such a gorgeous shop! Incredibly unique brands and inventory, all merchandised in an interesting way. The accessory section is top tier.

Beautiful unique clothing. Cafe isn’t worth much, very limited menu.

I love AKJP. It's a unique space in Cape Town that offers local designers a platform to share their work. They put lots of effort into how they curate the shop. The window display always has something interesting to look at. I especially love the homeware things like ceramics and fragrances. The staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. My favourite thing about the shop is the small cafe/ bar offering. I love sitting out front, drinking some of the best cocktails in town and watching the hustle of Kloof St. I would definitely recommend this store to locals and tourists visiting Cape Town.

AKJP Studio is, first and foremost, a thoughtfully curated clothing store , showcasing the work of independent South African designers with a strong sense of identity and craft. And yet, it’s more than retail. The daily-fresh bagels, bottomless coffee, and unfussy cocktails turn a quick visit into a slow ritual. You can sit outside, take in the gentle rhythm of Kloof Street, and feel part of something quietly local. Effortlessly stylish, rooted, and refreshingly unpretentious.
