Supporting community initiatives through a secondhand store
Mrs. Hope's Second Chance Emporium is an op shop in Featherston supporting community initiatives. We are operated by the Pae Tū Mōkai Charitable Trust, which also runs the Featherston Foodbank and the Ā Mua Re-Use It Shop. Our Trust was established in 2010 to offer quality goods and provide financial assistance through grants to local organizations, benefiting the Featherston community.
Beautiful store, warm and helpful staff and so many treasures !
The staff are helpful, kind and friendly. Love the bargins.. so needed these days, really helpful.. trying to clothe 8 + children any blessing is appreciated and the aroha that is shared in this place is just beautiful.
Excellent op shop. Clean, good variety of many things at reasonable prices. A must when passing through Featherston.
Super helpful ladies who work here. Let me out the back to forage through a large pile of picture frame notcyet on the shop floor. Onto of this helpfulness they also gave me a great deal on a bulk buy. Very happy customer.
Great little Opshop! If I do say so myself ☺️ I moved here at the end of 2019 & instantly fell in love with this little gem! I spent so much time there that I decided to volunteer ❤️ 2 & a bit years later & I’m still here! My favourite part is helping the local community & raising money to support locals, events & other great causes!!
