Obscure Birds is a four-piece band formed in the Milwaukee area in 2016. Featuring musicians Paul Rickert, Jay Pinkowski, Dave Voss, and Rob Pfeifer, the group crafts original music combining elements of classic rock, psych-rock, alt-country, and vocal harmonies.
After making their live debut in late 2016, the band began focusing exclusively on original material. They recorded at Hamtone Studios, subsequently releasing the Egg Sessions EP and their debut full-length album, Hatch.
