Wellington City Chorus is an a cappella chorus based in Wellington, New Zealand, performing four-part barbershop harmony. Formed in 1998, the chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International and consists of more than 45 singing members.
The chorus is led by co-directors David Brooks and Jo Hodgson. As previous national champions, Wellington City Chorus has represented New Zealand on international competition stages across the United States, including Las Vegas, Hawaii, Denver, Baltimore, and St. Louis.
The group rehearses on Monday evenings at the Wellington Bridge Club in Thorndon and welcomes prospective new members to attend rehearsals.
